How To Set Up a Dial Up Connection in Windows 2000
This page describes how
to setup a dial-up networking for Windows 2000 to connect to Linkdata
Communicaitons.

2. In the
"Open" box, type in "intewiz" (without quotes)

3. Fill in the
Telephone number of the associated area your will dialing to. Ensure that the
"Dial using the area code and country code" button is unchecked and
then click "Next."

4. Enter your username
(this is the same as your primary email address) and password into the
appropriate boxes.

5. Enter
"Linkdata" as the Connection Name and click "Next."
6. To set up Outlook
Express as your email client, click "Yes" and then click
"Next" to continue the setup process.
7. Enter the name you
wish to appear when other people receive your e-mail.
8. Enter your e-mail
address.
9. Enter the mail servers
into the appropriate areas
The server names for both
@linkd.net and @symphonytel.com addresses are printed below:
For @linkd.net addresses:
Incoming mail (POP3) server: pop.linkd.net
Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: smtp.linkd.net
For @symphonytel.com
addresses:
Incoming mail (POP3) server: pop.symphonytel.com
Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: smtp.symphonytel.com
10. Enter the username
(the beginning portion of your email address, before the @ sign) and password.
11. Click
"Finish".
